OUR COMMUNITIES​
We live in and interact with a multitude of communities. Just a few of these are:

our educational and scientific communities and the people who teach and do research,
-
forests and farmlands and the people who tend them,
-
our backyard and remote natural communities and the plants and animals who inhabit them, and
-
our local and regional human communities with our neighbors who live in them.
QUESTIONS TO ASK YOURSELF

Do you believe our society is destroying our environment by emitting greenhouse gases, and degrading our air, water, forests, and farmland?

Do you feel our economy is headed in a direction that offers few prospects for our young people?

Do you feel you can talk about these problems, but are powerless to do anything "real" to help solve them?
